Welcome to the revised Allegheny Trail Alliance website.
You'll find the same great trail information you've come to expect from the original ATA website, which was developed and maintained by Roy Weil and Mary Shaw.
Our thanks to Mary and Roy who said, in 1997, "ATA needs a website" and then proceeded to develop an award-winning site for ATA. Thanks for all their help on this revised site.
Roy and Mary's contributions to the Allegheny Trail Alliance and to other outdoor activities in our region as well as their authorship of books on the outdoors have not gone unnoticed. Venture Outdoors honored them with its Community Steward award in 2003. In 2004 they were recipients of one of just seven national Stewards for the Environment awards given by Seattle-based Recreational Equipment Inc., or REI.
